Things for Spring
Five recent closet additions for my new favorite season
I don’t know about you, but I’m fullllly obsessed with spring. My wardrobe was already in a good place, but over the last few weeks I’ve been keeping a mental note every time I craved the idea of putting on something that didn’t actually exist in my closet.
Here’s what’s officially crossed off the list:
Of course white jeans existed but my go-to pair has a brushed finish that doesn’t quite work for everything. A crisper version had been on my wishlist for a while, and watching sizes sell out was all the justification I needed to make them mine. If I ever need a cropped pair, calling it out now: it’ll be these.
02. Not Flats, Not Sandals… precisely: TR Ponti Slipper
Ballet flat fatigue has finally hit me. I love a sandal but on the days I’m not ready to bare it all, I wanted something closed-toe with a little personality. Navy is my favorite color and provides a subtle but interesting contrast with other neutral shades, like what I was going for below.
The blue is much more vibrant in person (promise) and I plan to lean on them all spring and summer, especially paired with even more white^.

03. A Short Trench (Second Hand)
There’s nothing like a long trench for concealing whatever’s happening underneath, but shorter jackets are what I’m craving despite my previous outfit. I ended up scoring an older Row style via The RealReal and during my search, I couldn’t believe this current season trench is available for nearly 80% off. Not my size but someone please buy it so I can live vicariously through you!

I originally ordered these a few weeks back but they ran incredibly large and after consulting more than one tailor, I finally accepted defeat and returned. Shortly after that, this pair was sent to me and while they're not a direct replacement, I really do love them… as in, the black pair is now on its way.

This brand is consistently surprising (they make the tank I’m wearing here) and is worn by some of the chicest girls on the internet. I actually think the Siena poplin pants would make a great mother’s day gift as they’re super wearable, timeless and forgiving. Or maybe just buy them to share. <3
Planning to wear the black pair exactly like this as soon as they arrive:

05. Something Light Pink
Like many others, I can’t escape the sudden urge to wear light pink. I haven’t quite made up my mind on how I want to incorporate the shade into my life beyond the single piece that I own, but sharing some strong contenders incase anyone else is in the same boat.
In terms of styling, it pairs back to more than you’d think, but I particularly love combining pink with black, grey, denim (a given) or red (perfect example).
Here’s what caught my eye:
The perfect button down shirt with just enough interest.
A low hanging t-shirt, a slightly more indulgent version, or this gorgeous sateen top for vacation.
Pink denim feels like a commitment but these linen pants don’t.
This coat and these pants both seem worth the waitlists.

Those white jeans are on my list now! Also this is the perfect curated spring wardrobe — as always a forever fan of your newsletter !
I’m a 6 but I couldn’t NOT try that TRR row trench even if it’s a size too large… thanks for the intel!! Fingers crossed it works!
