I'm obsessed with Brown
You probably are too. Here's how I'm wearing it:
Hardly more exciting than beige, but brown is doing something for me lately. It’s all I want to wear for the rest of summer and is fully saturating my fall wishlist.
I blame the summer cords I grabbed on a whim and wore on repeat through June, July, and August. They somehow they worked when they shouldn’t have? Then came the brown jeans, and now they’re all I want to wear.
Some examples of my latest color obsession in outfit format below:

This tank is a great example of how chic brown looks with black, from the same smaller label as the one I am wearing here. It only makes sense that I now have the brown en route. Very reminiscent of other tops I have from this popular brand that seems to always be out of stock.
Controversial statement for some, but a 90s bag isn’t an essential in my wardrobe. I somewhat impulsively bought mine in Burnt Wood a while back after a period where they were hard to come by (in any color). I don’t use it enough but I’m starting to reach for it more. Maybe I was onto something with the brown?

A LBT (little brown tee?) with my new suede moccasins proving that brown works with gold? I think yes. Also noticing that one of my most worn t-shirts now comes in a darker chocolate brown, that is now next on my list.
Looking back at my camera roll, I basically rotated between the brown cords I mentioned here and the brown jeans below. The fit on the denim is great (same style as my black pair above). I saw these in person and they’re a really good option if you’re after something similar, but not ready to invest.

If wearing sandals past summer is a crime, do me in. I’ll be wearing these slides with trousers and a trench as long as I reasonably can this fall.
I was recently gifted these mules but they unfortunately just didn’t work on my foot. In true form I swapped them with these super chic sandals and I now understand why everyone has been raving about this brand all summer.
They come in a brown-ish suede version and a snake print, both great for fall if you’re a little more exciting than me.
I think the easiest way to style brown in an interesting way is to quite literally wear an entire outfit of varying shades. If that’s not necessarily calling to you, creating a contrast with black, yellow, or white has worked for me recently. Planning to wear it with olive green soon.
Maybe if you’ve made it this far, you’re understanding my obsession.
If you’re in the mood to shop, I’ll leave you with some temptation below or this brand new berry-brown launch.

So yes, brown. Who knew!
